We met at the end of our freshman year of high school through a mutual friend. Over that summer we became friends and then we started dating the beginning of our sophomore year of high school on August 20, 2016. Our first date was seeing the movie Jason Bourne at the oaks mall (the same mall you will find under the things to do tab) and then we got ice cream. After almost 8 years of dating, Basile proposed on June 24, 2024 in Maui, Hawaii.

Some of our favorite things to do together include hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing, traveling, snorkeling, mini golfing, and baking.
